Lighting Design

Co-Lighting Designer - Grease

I assisted with the Light Design for while being the Stage Manager for Redline Theatre Company's production of Grease - School Version, I was also the board operator.

Grease being a very eccentric musical called for a mix of vibrant color choices on top of some typical washes when not in song.

This production had a different type of challenge than I was used to of only having the space for front lights. On top of having a limited number of lights with 6 Color Source 4s and 8 Pars.

Assistant Lighting Designer - Urinetown

I worked with the resident lighting designer, Will Coeur, and picked out a few things throughout the process. All my responsibilities were picking out gobos for the floor and both murals, picking out the warm and cool tone gels for focused lights, and assisting with the placement choices of the mega bars.

Programing Lights

Lighting design allows me to shape emotion and focus through atmosphere. I use light to guide attention, support storytelling, and influence how an audience feels in a space. My approach blends technical exploration with an understanding of human perception, always aiming to enhance the emotional experience of a performance.
